Did my first trek to Annapurna Base Camp in 2017 with Grande Adventures and now completed trekking to Everest Base Camp as well just last week. From pick up at Kathmandu Airport, hotel stays, mountain lodges and food arrangements, all thumbs up due to Grande Adventures team of guides and porters. Worry free trip as they strive to ensure all goes smoothly and ever accommodating to individual requests due to the large number of hikers in our group. Definitely recommended.

Thanks to everyone who is a part of Grande Adventure. I recently did a 9 days trek to Annapurna for my birthday and I must say that they really did their best to organize the best trip given the limited time I had when I was in Nepal. Vijay Tamang, the person who organized my trip did a wonderful job for preparing everything for me. He even rented a sleeping bag for me because I forgot to bring mine. He is very attentive to my needs and he is very informative whenever I have questions. A great thanks to Megh Dong as well for being my personal guide when I was in the Himalayas. There were times where he carries my bag because I was exhausted. He is not a fluent english speaker but he really did try his best to communicate with me in english. He is very kind and he is always asking if I was okay. I really did appreciate that! I was alone when I arrived in Nepal but when I left, I have additional brothers with me. Thanks! I highly recommend this tour organizer agency. Their service is one of a kind. 5/5! Namaste! :)

If you are thinking of trekking in Nepal then it would be hard to go past Grande Adventures. Vijay and his team surpassed all our expectations. Even before we arrived our queries and concerns were explained in every detail. He was polite and genuinely interested in helping us achieve our goal (EBC). During the trek he was in contact with our guide each day and itineraries were adjusted to suit our needs. We did not actually achieve our goal but did make it as far as Dingbouche. We were stopped by a combination of altitude effects and onset of influenza which we probably picked up on the plane going to Nepal. Even then our return to Lukla was organised without any hassles by Mr Lama our guide. Mr L seems to have been chosen to accommodate our specific needs. We are both over 70 years old and did the seniors trek, Mr L understood all of our concerns and made appropriate decisions to make everything as enjoyable as possible. He was well versed in the local history and geography. He has contacts, it seems, in every village and tea house which made for many interesting conversations. Overall a genuinely caring and gentle man. Grande Adventures is highly recommend, totally professional and and highly organised. Would recommend without hesitation.

I was looking for a more relaxed trek to Base camp via Gokyo lakes. I did not find one, most of them were packed which expects one to trek without much breaks. Came across Grande Adventures, who customised the trek to my needs. They ensured I have right amount of hiking each day and enough breaks built into the trek so that I can be comfortable and enjoy my treks than rush through it. Since it is a small outfit the advantage is personal attention and very flexible.

Namaste Bhai Vijay… Trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp in the country of the Mount Everest can be very overwhelming for most first timers. To most of us, in a group of 14 hikers, this has been the trip we were talking and trained for almost a year. One of the fears that clouded my mind was the guide, can they be trusted for taking care of our needs and safety. Upon meeting Vijay my mind settled to confident level, thus motivated us to tackle those tracks. I cannot speak highly enough of our tour organiser, Vijay (grandeadventure.com) for ensuring that all our needs were met, right from the start until our departure. He personally makes sure that our meals were ready on time. During those tough days of trekking he also would check that no one was left behind, which was a good thing. While driving to the starting point, we were gobsmacked and scrambling looking for words to describes the beauty of Nepal ranges. Trekking to the base camp is tough but not as bad as most would think, may be just a low level of fitness is required. I was not disappointed with this trip and the level of services provided by Vijay and crew. We make many new friends along the tracks. ABC has been on our places to trek bucket list, and its will be one of the absolutely memorable especially waking up to amazing sunrises. All of us made it to base camp safely and the return journey was as challenging with a whole new experienced – always giving way to passing flock of donkeys. We pass many bridges and clear water streams and falls, giving us a sense of closeness to nature. We arrived to Pokhara as scheduled and the next day, Vijay organised paragliding for some diehards. The trekking and the paragliding experienced were absolutely unforgettable. Until today we are still telling our friend and family about this amazing journey. Again, I would convey my (our) sincere thanks to Vijay and his helpful porters, guides, and cook that make this trip possible.

I have done Kathmandu, Bandipur, Pokhara & Chitwan Tour. Vijay was informative, friendly and absolutely fabulous. He knew everything there was to know about all Nepal tourist spots. Naveen was a great driver, who always made us feel safe while exploring the amazing mountain roads. The restaurants that Vijay has recommended to me were the best in Pokhara and Kathmandu. The best Nepali food we have ever had. He let me decide what I wanted to do and see and when I finished early he was kind enough to tell me about the cool places to visit at night.
