Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival you will be greeted and welcomed by our representative at the airport. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for you. A pre departure meeting will be scheduled as time permits. During the meeting, you will be introduced to the leader/guide who will be guiding you all throughout the trek. You will also be briefed about the program that starts from the next day.

Day 02: Guided city tour of Kathmandu
Today you will be visiting various cultural, historical and architectural monuments of the Kathmandu. The centuries old monuments are full of legends and beliefs and the Durbar squares of medieval Kathmandu are full of intricate carving and superb collection of architectural riches. The qualified and experienced tour guide will lead you and show you around. The time after tour is for preparation for your trip.

Day 03: To Pokhara, approx 6 hours drive.
A scenic drive of approx 6 hours will take to the beautiful lake city Pokhara. The view along the road is so dramatic with rivers, valleys, terraced fields and charming villages. After checking in to hotel and getting freshen up, you will time to explore the city. Enjoy your time and make preparation for the trip

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1570m), 5 – 6 hours
Initial one hour is a drive by private transportation to Nayapul. From here we begin our trek along the bank of Modi River up To Birethati. The trail from here moves through villages along the northern bank of Bhurungdi River and reach Tikhedhunga. Today’s trek is easy and a prelude for the tougher next day. Overnight here.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m), approx 7 hours
The toughest day of the entire trip, today you will only be climbing uphill. After crossing a suspension bridge at Tikhedhunga, the trail ascends steep stone staircases until it reaches Ulleri at 2080m, a beautiful Magar village. The trail then gently goes uphill through cultivated fields, villages and pastures. The trail further goes through beautiful forest of rhododendron and oaks and climb uphill to reach the day’s destination, Ghorepani where you are spending your night today.

Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani, (2610m) 6 – 7 hours
The highlight day of the trek for the hike to the famous view tower of Poon Hill located at the height of 3210 which bestows the jawdropping Himalayan panorama of the majestic Dhaulagiri, Annapurnas, Fishtail, Nilgiri, Hiunchuli and many more. The mouthwatering view will make you entire trip a worthwhile. Walk back to Ghorepani and start the trekking after the breakfast. The trek to Tadapani starts with a gentle ascent to Deurali then goes downhill through lush green forests. The view along the trail is marvelous. Tadapani is also another great place to witness the mesmerizing scenery.

Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk (1940m), 3 hours
Today is an easy day as it includes only approx 3-hour walking through beautiful forest of oak, rhododendron and other vegetations. Stunning sceneries along will make your walk even easier that you feel as if you made it to the beautiful village of Ghandruk in no time. This is one such charming village where you could observe traditional lifestyles, occupations, culture at first hand. The breathtaking mountain view of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre , Gangpurna and more will enthrall your day. You could explore the village and its cultural riches in the afternoon.

Day 08: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara
The trail descends through beautiful terraced fields and villages until it reaches Syaulibazaar, on the bank Modi River. The beautiful views won’t stop you greeting all along. From here the trail goes ahead on the bank of river until Nayapul. Drive back to Pokhara takes approx 1 hour by private vehicle. Rest day on your own.

Day 09: A leisure day in Pokhara.
To have a day in Pokhara is really ideal. You could explore around and also enjoy some of adventure sports available in Pokhara. Popular paragliding, ultra light flight, bungee jump, zip flyer and rafting are some available adventures. You would additionally book any of these with us.

Day 10: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu
You could take either drive or flight to be back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Free time on your own.

Day 11: Fly to Lhasa, 3650m
Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport Lhasa, you will be greeted by our Tibetan guide. You will then be driven to Lhasa. It takes around an hour to reach old city. Check into the hotel. The day does not include any trip program hence you are advised to take rest for acclimatization.

Day 12: Sightseeing of Lhasa
Sightseeing follows the morning breakfast. Today you will be visiting the legendary Potala palace. The imposing palace dominates the skyline of Lhasa. Inside the palace, you will be guided through different chambers where you can observe the Tibetan art and architecture at its best. The beautiful murals and statues with intricate carving as well as the tombs of the eight Dalai Lamas are other attractions. Later in the day, you will visit the Deprung monastery where you can observe monks and nuns chanting prayers and performing religious discourses.

Day 13: Another day of Sightseeing in Lhasa
After breakfast, your guide will brief you about the tour program of the day. The day is full of activities with visits to Sera monastery, Norbulinka, Jokhang temple and Barkhor market. The visits to these monuments will help you get insight into the Tibetan culture, various aspects of Tibetan Buddhism, Tibetan carving and paining, and centuries long traditional heritages.

Day 14: Lhasa to Gyantse, (3950m), 5-6 hours
It’s an extremely scenic drive all along. You will cross Khambala Pass (4794m) and come across the Turquoise Lake (Yamdrok Tso) and Nazing Kang Sang glacier. Crossing yet another pass at Karo La (5045m) and enjoying scenery of the glaciers you will reach Gyantse. You will visit Khumbum Stupa, Phalkot Monastery and Gyantse Dzong (fortress) at Gyantse.

Day 15: Gyantse to Shigatse (3900m), 2-3 hours
Relatively a shorter drive to Shigatse, Tibet’s second largest city. In Shigatse, you will visit the historical Tashilunpo Monastery which is popular for being founded by Gendun Drup, the first Dalai Lama. Explore more of the city.

Day 16: Shigatse to Rongbuk (5000m), 8-9 hours
It’s a long day drive but extremely rewarding one. En-route you will visit the famous Sakya monastery, from here the Sakyapa cult of Tibetan Buddhism was originated. After reaching Rongbuk, you visit the Rongbuck monastery located at the foot of the Everest which is also popular as the highest monastery in the world. The Mountain View from here is simply enchanting.

Day 17: Rongbuk – Everest Base Camp – Shigatse, 6-7 hours
In the morning you will visit Everest base camp, 5250m. It’s obviously the highlight of the day to step the base of the world’s highest mountain. Along the way you will enjoy the stunning mountain views. Apart from the Everest, other high mountain like Cho Oyu, Shishapangma etc appear majestically. Back to Rongbuk and drive back to Shigatse.

Day 18: Shigatse to Lhasa, approx 6 hours
Drive back to Lhasa on the friendship highway along the Yarlung Tsangpo River. It’s about 6 hours scenic drive.

Transfer to airport and bid farewell. Fly to onward destination.
