As the name speaks for itself Everest View Trekking truly offers a magnificent view of Everest along with many other towering mountains without having to trek higher altitude and committing longer holiday. Not only it offers the grand views but also offers the taste of real life in the mountains that you come across. This trek would certainly be the best choice if you would like to see the grandeur of Everest without having to commit for longer and higher altitude trek. And at the same time it also offers the opportunity to experience the trekking in the mountain and interact with the world famous Sherpa people and know their culture and lifestyle.
Starting from Lukla, you will be trekking towards Everest National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Trekking through beautiful forests enriched with diverse flora and fauna, amazing landscape broken into glacial valleys and deep gorges and wonderful Sherpa settlements with unique cultural heritages, you will be enthralled all throughout the trip to have experienced so much within not a long duration of time.
For the trekking to base camp, our regular Everest Base Camp Trekking offers what it takes for a successful and memorable trek. If you are able to afford slightly longer holiday and are reasonably fit, you could opt for base camp trekking as well.
Outline itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Pick up from airport and transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day guided city tour of Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: The trek starts. Fly to Lukla, 2804m. Trek to Phakding (2610m), 3 – 4 hours.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital (3440m), 5 – 6 hours. Explore around.
Day 05: An acclimatization and exploration day at Namche Bazaar. This day can be used to hike to the nearby village and explore more.
Day 06: Trek to Khumjung (3810m), approx 4 hours. Another beautiful village of legendary Sherpas.
Day 07: Trek to Tengboche (3860m), 4-5 hours. View of Everest and other mountains and Tengboche are the attractions.
Day 08: Trek back to Monjo (2860m), 6-7 hours.
Day 09: Trek back to Lukla, approx 5 hours. Time to stretch tired legs and relax
Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu. Pick up and transfer to hotel.
Day 11: Departure day. Transfer to airport and fly back home.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival you will be greeted and welcomed by our representative at the airport. You will then be transferred to the hotel booked for you. A pre departure meeting will be scheduled as time permits. During the meeting, you will be introduced to the leader/guide who will be guiding you all throughout the trek. You will also be briefed about the program that starts from the next day.

Day 02: Guided city tour of Kathmandu
Today you will be visiting various cultural, historical and architectural monuments of the Kathmandu. The centuries old monuments are full of legends and beliefs and the Durbar squares of medieval Kathmandu are full of intricate carving and superb collection of architectural riches. The qualified and experienced tour guide will lead you and show you around. The time after tour is for preparation for your trip.

Day 03: The trek starts. Fly to Lukla, 2804m. Trek to Phakding (2610m), 3 – 4 hours.
The trip starts with an early morning flight to Lukla. A scenic and memorable flight of approx 35 minutes will take you to the Lukla, the gateway to Everest. From here the trek starts with an initial descent towards Dudhkoshi River to Cheplung village. The trail then gradually ascends through villages of Chaurikharka and Ghat to reach Phakding where you spend your night.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital (3440m), 5 – 6 hours
Crossing stunning suspension bridges time and again over gorgeous Dudhkoshi River, as you ascends the gorgeous views, beautifully carved Mani walls, colorful prayer flags along the trail will only make your trip more enjoyable and rewarding. It’s not only the mountains and rivers but also the flora and fauna that you come across while walking through the beautiful pine forest in Everest national park are also praiseworthy. The later part of the trek today will make you experience the quite demanding uphill trekking that takes us the Sherpa Capital where you will be spending two nights.

Day 05: An acclimatization and exploration day at Namche Bazaar
A trek to Everest region is generally not considered to be complete if one misses to explore the beautiful Sherpa town of Namche. And it’s also important for you to get acclimatized to higher altitudes that you are reaching. And visits to Everest photo gallery and Sherpa cultural museum will be equally worthwhile.

Day 06: Trek to Khumjung (3810m), approx 4 hours
The trail climbs up to the famous airstrip of Syangboche. The famous Everest View Hotel of this place is known for the beautiful scenery it offers. The trail further goes to reach the beautiful village of Khumjung which is surrounded by Kongde, Thamserku and Khumbila mountains. Visit the Edmund Hillary school and Khumjung monastery.

Day 07: Trek to Tengboche (3860m), 4-5 hours
The trail initially descends to Dudh Koshi river then passes through villages. From the riverbed, the ascent for about two hours through pine, rhododendron and fir forest will take you to the Tyangboche. The Tyangboche monastery is the largest monastery in the region and is situation at 3860m. The stunning view of Tawache, Nuptse, Amadablam, Lhotse, Thamserku and Everest is beyond imagination.

Day 08: Trek back to Monjo (2860m), 6-7 hours
The trail descends most of the time which rejoins at Namche Bazaar. The trail further goes downhill to reach the river basin followed by a short ascent to reach the beautiful Monjo village.

Day 09: Trek back to Lukla, approx 5 hours
The trail steeply descends through Phakding and Chopling villages. The ascent from Chauri Kharka is the final climb of the trek which takes you back to Lukla.

Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel
By the early flight, you will flight back to Kathmandu. Upon landing at Kathmandu airport, you will then be transferred to hotel. The afternoon is for you to explore and relax. If you have further planning, we can make the arrangement. In the evening enjoy farewell dinner hosted by Grande Adventures.

After your successful trip, it’s time to go back home. You will be transferred to airport and bid farewell.
